The link above provides access to many different websites and articles that can provide assistance in the process of coping with sexual abuse. It also has more information in regards to prevention and many scholarly journals as well. I chose to provide this website because it is a government webisite that provides accurate statistics/facts and I believe that is extremely important for individuals looking for help or just want more knowledge on the subject.

This is an amazing program that is out there that allows new parents to be educated on child development and appropriate expectations of children. This program allows society to be proactive rather than reactive to child abuse! Check it out!

Here is another video that is an animated film for children and adults to watch and allows children to understand when something is not right particularly with child pornography.

  1. I love what Healthy Families America is doing to educate young families with regards to child development and focusing on issues unique to each family. I also liked that they provide the families with resources for parent/child programs in their areas. I think education and avoiding isolation is key to reduce child maltreatment. Thanks for posting this video.
